Shipping policy

Shipping & processing

All orders are processed within 3 to 5 business days (excluding weekends and holidays) after receiving your order confirmation email. You will receive another notification when your order has shipped. 

Shipping is only available domestically (within the US) at this time. Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at check out. Shipping times depend on your location. The USPS site quotes, but does not guarantee, 2 to 8 business days for domestic delivery.

Local delivery

Free local delivery is available on all orders within 5 miles of West Caldwell, NJ. We will contact you via text message at the phone number you provided at checkout to notify you on the day of our arrival.

Order status & updates

When your order has shipped, you will receive an email notification from us which will include a tracking number you can use to check your order status. Please allow 48 hours for the tracking information to become available.

If you haven’t received your order within 10 days of receiving your shipping confirmation email, please contact us at info@smellslikecandles.com with your name and order number, and we will look into it for you.

Returns & exchanges

Given the nature of our items, we do not accept returns. However, we want you to be satisfied with your order, so if you are unhappy with your order for any reason, please reach out to us at info@smellslikecandles.com so we may assist.  

In the event that your order arrives damaged in any way, please email us as soon as possible at info@smellslikecandles.com with your order number and a photo of the item’s condition. We address these on a case-by-case basis but will try our best to work towards a satisfactory solution.
